At The Green Deck, we look for integral solutions at the watershed, region, or subnational level. Our investment portfolios fund economic development programs well beyond the project scale.

PROGRAM IDENTIFICATION

Our global network of expert partners works at the local level with our clients in the public and private sectors in developing countries to identify actions and programs, and to align the critical interventions of their development plans with the NDCs and SDGs targets at the national level.

PRE-FEASIBILITY

We develop technical, regulatory, social, and market analysys to confirm the program environment, viability of private capital participation, and validity of social, environmental and economic development thesys. A Sustainable Development Plan -SDP, involving actions in multiple sectors is formulated as a result of this stage.

FEASIBILITY

Our local teams work together with SDP's owners to develop the required high-quality feasibility studies including technical, social, and environmental components. Our team in Switzerland works on the financial feasibility, market analysis, and economic development theory to maximize the final social, environmental, and economic impacts of the SDPs.

04.

SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE ACTION

We work with SDP's owners, Investors, and International certification agencies, to identify and quantify the social, environmental, and climate impacts of the SDPs, and to establish clear and measurable Science Based Targets - SBTs, and KPIs.

INVESTMENT CASE

Working with potential Impact Investors and Philanthropic funds, our experts build the investment case including, financial structuring, risk, investment appraisal, and transaction design. SDP's financial closure and investment plan are the result of this stage.

06.

IMPACT INVESTORS MATCH

Each SDP including multiple and transformational interventions, and supported by a strong investment case, is submitted to pre-identified Ipact Investors. The Public-Private- Philanthropic-Partnership arrangement is structured, and a pool of capital is established as an independent fund in charge of resources custody. The Green Deck mission ends here.

The Implementation stage starts under the supervision of the SDP's owners, a third-party international accreditation entity, and the fund in charge of financial custody.
